A new French course will be taught during the Fall semester to meet the demands of students including those seeking state teacher certificates, according to the Modern Languages Department at UL Çàɬֱ²¥.
The course - French 311 Introduction to French and Francophone Literature - will be offered on Wednesdays from 5 to 7 p.m. and will be for three hours of undergraduate credit.
The class will introduce authors and their works from French speaking countries from around the world including the African continent, the Caribbean, Europe, Canada, Louisiana and more. It will be taught by Dr. Elizabeth Landry.
